Operation First Response

Backpacks to Wounded Service Members

We pack and send backpacks which can be given to each wounded soldier as they arrive at the combat support hospitals in Iraq along with Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.  When our wounded arrive at these hospitals they have only what they are wearing and it is often weeks before their personal belongings catch up to them.  These backpacks ensure that the our wounded have a little love from home to comfort them until they return to the states.

Backpacks are sent to a point of

contact who gives them out to our

wounded as they arrive.
