Donations – The Need

You too, can help carry a wounded soldier to safety on the home front.

At some point since 9/11 all of us have said, I WISH SOMEONE WOULD ASK ME FOR HELP – OR JUST TELL ME WHAT I CAN DO…

Well, many of our wounded soldiers not only require prolonged medical care and rehab – some spouses have lost their jobs while sitting at their loved one’s bedside through multiple surgeries, or while providing emotional support through painful rehab.  Debtors threaten their homes, cars, and kid’s college fund money.  They literally leave one war zone, only to find themselves in another.  YOU can change that.  Walk for the Wounded - in person or in spirit. 

• Help us pay for job retraining so a soldier can again become his family’s breadwinner. 
• Help us make home renovations to allow wheelchair access to their home. 
• Help us refit kitchens and baths so the soldier with life-long challenges can be self sufficient at home.

The need can be small – like for a special bed for the soldier to use at home, while recovering from his wounds.  And sometimes the need is so large, we catch our breath and pray for a miracle.  Your donation is that miracle

Your contribution will be the difference between a soldier losing his or her home and keeping it – having to sell a family car or be able to keep it – having their children go without or providing clothes for children who don’t stop growing just because mom or dad was injured in the war.
