💬 A Note from Our Team

We are a small team with limited funding. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist every family that contacts us—but we are continually working to expand our resources and reach more Veterans and First Responders in need.

The questions in our request form help us determine:

  • Whether you qualify for assistance.
  • Whether you’ve received help from us in the past (we cannot revisit previous cases).
  • Whether we can fully or partially assist with your need.
  • What alternative resources we can refer you to if we cannot assist.

Please note: This is not the application itself. If your request aligns with OFR’s guidelines and funding availability, you will be directed to complete the secure application via an encrypted portal.

We deeply appreciate your trust and patience as we serve our nation’s Heroes.

Request Form Availability will open on the date stated on the buttons and will follow the schedule below:

  • The request form is open: Fridays 9:00 am EDT
  • The form closes either when we have received too high a volume of requests or on Monday morning, 9:00 am EDT
  • Our team begins reviewing requests on Monday and will follow up via email.
First Responders: Due to the high volume of requests our request form will not reopen until Friday 17 October 2025.

OPERATION FIRST RESPONSE HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES TO ANYONE DURING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS:

When a requestor has been or is being disrespectful to our staff.

When a requestor is openly showing signs of being intoxicated and is causing unnecessary disturbances with our staff.

When the requestor is yelling, screaming or using foul language while working with our staff.
