The Gift of Recovery

Operation First Response has partnered with a leading outpatient provider specializing in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment called Groups, through their Gift of Recovery program.

This initiative was designed to bring healing to those battling addiction, while also giving back to the First Responder community through OFR.

Here’s how the program works:

• Anyone can refer an individual struggling with addiction by visiting:  joingroups.com/share-virginia.

• When that person completes an intake and begins treatment, Groups will make a donation to Operation First Response.

• By sharing this resource, you not only help someone begin their recovery journey, but also strengthen OFR’s ability to continue supporting Heroes like you in times of crisis.

We know that you see firsthand the toll addiction takes on families, neighborhoods, and on your own hearts as you respond day after day. The Gift of Recovery program provides a new avenue of hope, where every referral can change a life, and every life changed fuels our mission to stand by America’s Finest.
