Over one thousand motorcyclists from around the country Saturday rolled into the Queen City for the fifth annual Dixie Thunder Run.
Many of the participants are veterans or are family of veterans. Money raised during this event will go straight to Operation First Response which helps support wounded Heroes and their families with emergency needs.
“Most of the bikers are either veterans or active duty or have family members that are. Those that don’t, do it out of love to help the soldiers and the Airmen Navy, Coast Guard all of them,” said event organizer Larry Spencer.
Every year the event takes place at Chunky River Harley-Davidson.
$20,000 was raised to benefit Operation First Response and our Nation’s wounded Heroes and their families!
A heartfelt Thank You goes out to all those who made this event so successful!
